BACKGROUND OF DIRECTOR:
He was born in 1987 in Erzincan. In 2009, he graduated from Trakya University Civil Engineering Department. After working in the private sector between 2010-2017, he started to work as a Civil Engineer at Büyükçekmece Municipality in 2017. Between 2017-2023, he worked as a rapporteur in the Directorate of Zoning and Urbanisation. He is currently working as the Director of Zoning and Urbanisation, to which he was appointed in 2024. He is married and has 1 daughter.

To design the future by creating quality settlements in the scale of structure and physical space, that are in harmony with the sustainable environment, that has high quality of life and to become a directorate that solves the problems of the people of Büyükçekmece with rational solutions by providing active, efficient, fast and quality service.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Directorate of Zoning and Urbanization:
- To inspect architectural projects or renovation projects within the framework of the Zoning Law No. 3194, Zoning Regulation in force, other related laws and regulations, and zoning status and plans, to issue construction permits,
- To inspect the conformity of the constructions to the project and license in terms of the relevant legislation, to prepare a cease and desist order for the constructions that are found to be contrary to the project and license,
- To update the information form regarding the building in the YDK system regarding the building licenses that are subject to the Building Inspection Law and to perform the building license information entries, to perform the controls and surface structure permits of the constructions that reach the surface level,
- To perform the necessary procedures in applications for construction servitude. To carry out the license renewal procedures for the constructions whose license terms have expired,
- To accrue building construction fees and charges.
- To perform approval procedures where Preliminary Project approval is required,
- To control and to inspect the mechanical-electrical installation projects if they are in the resettlement phase, to check and to inspect the thermal insulation project, and to perform the elevator license and periodic inspection procedures,
- to determine the buildings that will require strengthening and repair, to notify the relevant authorities and to take the necessary security measures, to determine and demolish abandoned structures in order to make the existing buildings safe against earthquakes,
- To issue a Building Occupancy Permit for the buildings whose construction has been completed in accordance with the construction license, and to accrue housing fees and charges,
- To carry out the procedures within the scope of Law No. 6306 on Transformation of Areas Under Disaster Risk.
