BACKGROUND OF DIRECTOR:
She was born in 1985 in Hatay. She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Hatay. She graduated from Çukurova University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Architecture. After working in the private sector for 2 years, she worked in the project team in Tekirdağ Special Provincial Administration between 2011-2013. In 2013, she started working in Büyükçekmece Municipality as Project Chief in Urban Design Directorate for 4 years. After taking an active role as a project follow-up and control engineer in the Directorate of Infrastructure Affairs between 2021-2022, she has been involved in project design and field follow-up work in all superstructure works in the Study and Project Directorate since 2022. She is currently serving as a member of the Architectural Aesthetics Commission. In 2024, she was appointed as Study and Project Director. She is married and has 2 children.

It carries out projects and studies to ensure that our district is a planned city where a livable, healthy and safe life is established for the future.

To carry our city above the standards with projects that will build a future planned with modern services, in line with the norms of sustainable urbanization, and to provide activities so that our city becomes a 'brand city'
Duties and Responsibilities of the Directorate of Survey and Project:
- To prepare architectural, static, mechanical, electrical and landscape projects for real estate and lands owned by Büyükçekmece Municipality and to have them prepared, in line with the needs of the municipality and the city, within the framework of the relevant legislation and standards,
- To prepare renovation and interior decoration projects in line with the needs of municipal units, to make material selection, furnishing work, feasibility studies and submit them to the relevant investor directorate,
- To prepare 3D visuals and project reports on the issues needed by the municipal units and submitting them to the upper authority,
- To ensure that the projects are carried out in line with the targets and policies, and to follow up on behalf of the Municipality,
- To create holistic and sustainable long-term Survey Projects in places such as squares, recreation areas, boulevards and streets in line with the needs of the district, in order to create and develop urban identity,
- To make decisions that protect the urban aesthetics regarding the buildings in the whole district and to carry out façade design and facade improvement works or to have them carried out,
- To determine the construction principles and criteria for porches, awnings, pergolas, shades, sunshades and similar additions to the building facades throughout the district, to evaluate the applications in an aesthetical point of view; to create projects on avenue and street basis and in terms of city aesthetics or to have them created,
- To conduct enforcement and supervision within the framework of the Regulation on Notices, Advertisement and Promotion throughout the Büyükçekmece district,
- To examine the demands regarding all kinds of notices and billboards, megaboard, billboard, illuminated - non-illuminated boards, notices and advertisements working with electrical, electronic and computer systems to be placed on real estates and lands, squares, avenues, streets, public and private properties under the private ownership of Büyükçekmece Municipality, to determine the shape, location and size, to evaluate, to give a positive or negative opinion on whether such notice and advertisement will be placed or not,
- To design and detail all types of urban reinforcement elements to be used throughout the district with an aesthetic, functional and holistic approach,
- To carry out design projects and implementations in order to integrate physically disabled people into society and to develop standards that make their lives easier
- To carry out research and development studies, to develop and implement projects in order to provide more efficient and effective Survey Project services (R&D),
- To have projects created for urban art structures, to organize project competitions, to make protocols with universities for art structures,
- To carry out all construction, service procurement, consultancy related tender and supervision services (including preparation of tender files, controlling, inspection and acceptance, final account procedures) related to the urban design to be created by the municipality, or have them carried out,
- To ensure coordination with the Directorate of Municipal Police in order to prevent all negativities that disrupt the urban aesthetics and cause visual pollution,
- To prepare a file and submit it to the Municipal Council in cases where a Council Decision is required,
- To have books, booklets, brochures, etc. printed, to promote through advertisements, to prepare an Urban Design Guide or to have it prepared to inform, raise awareness of and to encourage the public in writing and visually about the fields of activity of the Directorate of Survey and Project,
- To take domestic and international technical study trips towards the purpose of research and examination that will increase the quality of the image, use and spatial quality of areas such as square, main artery, avenue, street, sidewalk arrangements throughout Büyükçekmece in order to create the urban identity,
- To plan activities such as conversations, theater, artistic events, symposiums, panels, conferences, workshops and competitions in order to support the Survey Project works, to organize and to carry out such activities together with other directorates of the Municipality,
- To conduct sociological researches and surveys in order to determine social needs and demands throughout Büyükçekmece, and to ensure public participation in practices, or to have them conducted,
- To be aware of new technologies in project creation, to follow them up, to make a service procurement tender to provide training of the personnel for this purpose,
- To establish dialogue with national and international organizations, foreign and domestic universities, foreign and domestic relevant professional organizations, on the development of the profession and project technologies, to establish a communication network, to provide technology and information exchange,
- To establish commissions consisting of the members of the necessary units related to their fields within the Survey Project Directorate,
- To prepare the Strategic Plan of the Directorate,
- To prepare the annual budget of the Directorate and send it to the Directorate of Financial Services,
- To prepare the activity report of the Directorate,
- To ensure that the information and documents collected and to be collected during the Survey Project studies are classified and archived in appropriate environments and formats,
- To determine the Performance Goals of the Directorate and to carry out studies to reach these goals.
